Wouldn't it be rather cool if you could enlist with a pirate faction in all of this? Wherever there are wars there are pirates to make the most out of every situation. Also: What about mercenaries? And assasins?

Of course you can anchor cans still, but the point is that you'd have to move it afterwards. Leaving it there for ages is pointless since the ore is elsewhere, which was more or less my main point about it. It doesn't make anchored GSC's completel...

For all the pirates and griefers (read: pvp'ers) out there: I don't want to ruin the game experience for you guys either. It shouldn't be very hard to locate the standard mining pockets. Anyone should be able to do it with the built-in ship sensor...
